Great Deals on Board Games

Yesterday we had to go to Little Rock and I dropped into Target and Kroger for a few things.  While I was there I picked up these great deals on board games.  Two of them will be a great addition to our weekly Friday night game night and one will make a great donation item.

Target has Monopoly Millionaire on sale right now for $14.98.  Using the $5 coupon from Coupons.com, this came to $9.98.  Regular price of this game is $19.98.

Kroger has Yahtzee on sale for B1G1F right now (price of 1 was $8.99).  I was able to use 2 of the $2 coupons from coupons.com to get 2 games for $4.99 total.  Some stores will not let you use 2 coupons if the second one rings up free.  At some stores the first one will ring up $4.50 and the second will ring up $4.49.  This allows you to use two coupons.  It was late last night and the u-scan was the only place open.  The clerk had to scan my coupons and he took both coupons off.  So it just depends on the store and the clerk if they will take 1 or 2 of the coupons.  Even with just one coupon, you would get 2 games for $6.99.  The price for these at Target was almost $8 for one and I have hear that they are about $7 at Walmart.

To make this deal even better there is a Hasbro rebate out that can earn prepaid rewards cards from $5 to $40.  The rebate is good on the following games:

The Game of Life® (SKU# 04000), Monopoly® (SKU# 00009), Scattergories® (SKUs# A2861, 05721), Pictionary® (SKU# 05713), Scrabble® (SKUs# 04024, 37719), Yahtzee® (SKU# 00950), Hungry Hungry Hippos® (SKUs# 05297, 98936), Jenga® (SKU# 53557), Twister® (SKUs# 16965, 98831), Connect 4® (SKUs# 08417, 98779), Elefun® (SKUs#
05294, 98934) and/or Operation® (SKU# 40198)

It does not require the UPC off the box (great for gift giving), you need only write the numbers on the rebate form.  Be sure to copy down the upc numbers before wrapping or donating.  It allows multiple receipts or packing slips.  Purchases are to be between 11/1/2012 and 12/25/2012, and postmarked by 1/15/2013.

Always make sure you read directions and follow the instructions on rebate forms to receive your rebate without problems.

Remember that not all stores and all locations have the same sales.  Be sure to check your stores price before doing the deal.

The coupons may not be available for long, so if you would like to use them it would be best to print them as soon as you can.

If you have no children, or don’t need the games, this is an inexpensive way to donate some great items to toy drives, shelters or wherever you find to make a donation.  Being frugal allows us to give more!

Proctor & Gamble $15 Rebate on $50 Purchases

There is a great new rebate out for $15 back on $50 worth of select P & G products.  The paper this weekend had some great coupons for these products.  If you need to order some coupons be sure to visit Coupon Dede or The Coupon Clippers.  Remember that the total of $50 is before coupons are used.  So when you add your purchases up to get $50 do not subtract coupons.

The rebate also says receipt(s).  This means you do not have to buy $50 worth of stuff at one time.  Just keep the receipts for each purchase as well as the upc codes.  Being able to use multiple receipts allows you to make the most of this rebate when combining sales with coupons.

Purchases can be made between 10/14/12 and 12/31/12.   The form lists the items included in the rebate as well as the complete instructions.  Be sure to always follow the instructions to receive the rebate.

I also recommend you make copies or scan a copy to your computer before sending in.  If for some reason your rebate gets denied and you call, it always helps to have the information of what you send in in front of you.  I have had to call a couple times on a couple different rebates and never had any trouble.  I just delete the scan after the rebate is received.

Don’t forget about the Keurig rebate good until the end of the month.

Have any questions about rebates?

Keurig For A Christmas Gift? Here’s a Rebate!

Want to give a Keurig for a Christmas Gift?  There’s a great rebate available for purchases made between 9/25/12 and 10/28/12.  Be sure to read all the details and print the form here.  As always, follow the directions carefully to make sure you get your rebate with ease and always make a copy or scan to your computer the stuff you send in.  I then delete the scan after I have received the rebate.

This is a great way to save some money on a Christmas Gift.  It will require that you submit the UPC’s from the packaging.  Some people do not like to take the UPC’s off of something they are giving for a gift.  I personally do not have a problem with this, I try to take the UPC’s off carefully by not cutting through the whole box.  You can also color in the area with marker so it doesn’t stand out as much.  I think of it as a way for someone to get a much better gift than they would have gotten without the availability of a rebate.

M & M’s & Mars Entertainment Cash Offers

You can go to the M&M’s Mars Movie Cash Page to print these offers.

Both of these offers have a maximum number of certificates they will send out in all and then they will close the offer.  If you are interested in this offer, I would send for it right away, and even then you are not guaranteed a certificate.

Spectracide Coupon and Rebate

You will want to hurry on over to coupons.com (look under zip code of 84121) and print this great coupon for $3/1 Spectracide.  It lists certain products it can be used on.   Remember you can go back and print it again, for a limit of 2 per computer.  This is a HOT coupon and will not last long.

To make the deal even better, you can go here and print a rebate for up to $4 on Spectracide Products.  This rebate form may not be available to print for long, so I would print it now.  You will have to “like” them to get the offer.

Arm & Hammer® Laundry Power Pack Try Me Free

I do make my own detergent, but I love to keep some around in case I run out in the midst of busy times.  You know ….. when life happens.  This offer is perfect for those occasions  with a bonus of being able to try a new product.

I found this specially marked package at my local Walmart for 7.97.  The pink rebate offer must be included in the envelope to get the rebate so be sure the package you buy has the rebate sticker on it.  This rebate will refund your purchase price up to 9.99.  Receipt needs to be dated 2/1/12 – 12/15/12.  You must also include the UPC from the product.

Be sure to read all rebate instructions when you send for the rebate.  Following the instructions completely is the best way to be sure you have no problems getting your rebate back.  Keep a copy of the stuff you send in or scan a copy and save on your computer until the rebate is received.

Tip for removing UPC codes.  Never put the item away until you remove the UPC code.  If I were to put this bag of detergent in my laundry room, I would most likely forget to get the UPC off before the offer is over.  I carefully cut the UPC out right away.  I then put a piece of plastic or something over the hole I created and tape it in place.  This way I can send for the rebate right away without fear of forgetting.
